WE ARE PROUD TO SUPPORT & WORK WITH THE CHARITIES BELOW

BREAK

Break makes life better for children and young people on the edge of care, in care and leaving care. Working across East Anglia, the charity firmly believes that every child, no matter their start in life, deserves a bright future. Starting by building and earning trust, and then providing opportunities for young people to engage with, Break’s aim is to walk with those they support every step of the way to independence. And the support doesn’t stop there, a lifelong offer means the charity is there whenever and wherever they’re needed.

KEEPING ABREAST

Keeping Abreast was established in September 2007 by patients Anna Beckingham and Beverley Birritteri and Breast Reconstruction nurse specialist Ruth Harcourt. They recognised a great need for women, both newly diagnosed with breast cancer and facing the possibility of mastectomy, and also women further down the line who are also considering reconstructive surgery, to be able to meet and talk to other women who have been through similar experiences. This allows women make an informed choice about whether or not to proceed with breast reconstruction

PRISCILLA BACON HOSPICE

Founded in 2016, the Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity enhances palliative care in Norfolk. Its primary goal was to fundraise for and build the new Priscilla Bacon Lodge, a state-of-the-art hospice with expert NHS palliative and end of life care. Inaugurated by King Charles III in October 2023, the new Lodge continues a 44-year legacy of exceptional care in Norfolk. It supports a homely environment with freshly prepared meals, beautiful gardens and specialist equipment. Services funded by the Charity include bereavement support with drop-in sessions, group therapy, and individual counselling, alongside a Garden Pavilion for quiet reflection. Community art sessions and music therapy are also available. Complementary therapy with massage, reflexology, aromatherapy, and mindfulness will also be delivered.
